I had no idea what I was in for with this property, and we’re probably in over our heads in a lot of areas.Not that that’s a bad thing.

I’m enjoying every little second of it and I relish the fact that I’m learning all these things now.In 30 years, I’ll have 30 years of experience and this place will be stunning.. For now… it’s a learning experience.Still.. I’m fairly determined to get this place looking not-so-bad now that school’s back in.

This little petunia plant is one I saved from certain death by whatever bug was eating it where it was before.I put it up on the ledge by our side door so people can see it from the road.

A few months ago I told you about my.I decided to fix that this year and so I started out by making a list.

A list for the ages!Just a basic list that I could use year after year for all of the “stuff” that we need to remember to pack.

Up until now, I’ve usually just set out a few bins and thrown stuff in there as I think of it over the course of a few weeks.I scoured the web and looked at everyone else’s lists that I could find to help trigger my memory for things that I wanted to bring.
